Trip aborted

On our way to HOL , in a down pour, the wife slipped and twisted her knee, had to pull plug on trip . Limped back to boat. On way home :(

Sorry to hear it. I completely understand what a bummer it is to have an injury and then have to leaving early. Happened to me a few weeks ago. Glad she was able to get out of the backcountry.

Sorry to hear this. What a bummer! And, teapot, you have my sympathies, too. I hope you get to go on your second Glacier trip!

I'm guessing they were hiking up to Hole in the Wall from Goat Haunt. But maybe not.

Ah yes. I forgot about the Canadian approach. I was wondering if they stashed a canoe on Kintla or Bowman.

I am sorry to hear of your wife's injury, and the subsequent redirection of plans.
I hope you enjoyed the day hikes before the backpack, and will be able to return for another helping.
