I wondered what happened at the Cattle Baron. We were there last week and we're expecting our usual great steak and good food. We were very disappointed. The steaks we received we're tough and had a lot of fat on them. One person in our group what are the T-bone done medium. What he received was some cut of meat done rare with no bone at all in it. Truly mystery meat. The service was extremely slow. We will not be going back.
The mountains are calling and I must go.

Thanks for the update, calicotraveler. I have never been to the Cattle Barron and was going to make a point of going this year, but sounds like it’s off the list now :(

It is always nice to get an update, even if it is not positive. The Cattle Baron has certainly gotten mixed reviews over the years.
